Honor Council Elections

Personal Statements – Elections 2017-18

Dear students: Honor Council elections are this week! The 2L class has chosen 15 nominees, and the 1L class has chosen 28 nominees. The nominees’ personal statements are attached to this blog post. Please review the personal statements before the election.  The election will start tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18 and conclude Thursday, April 20.

  • 2Ls will cast three votes
  • 1Ls will cast five votes
  • The nominee who receives the most votes from the 1L class will serve as Secretary during the 2017-2018 school year and Chief Justice during the 2018-2019 school year
  • The nominee who receives the second most votes from the 1L class will serve as the Associate Chief Justice during the 2018-2019 school year
  • The nominee who receives the third most votes from the 1L class will serve as a Student Justice during the 2018-2019 school year
  • The three nominees who receive the most votes from the 2L class will be seated on the Honor Council
