Canceled Lobbying & Trial Ad Sections Back On Schedule

FROM DEAN MULROY

We recently had to cancel two Trial Ad sections because of the sudden unavailability of the professor.  We have been able to find a professor to take over one new Trial Ad section, and we are adding it to the Fall 2017 schedule.  Clint Saxton has spent decades litigating both criminal and civil cases, including for many years now at Fed Ex, where he for many years served as Managing Director of the Employment Litigation Team.  We’re lucky to have him join our adjunct faculty.  Mr. Saxton will offer Trial Ad on Tuesdays from 2-3:50 and on Thursdays from 2-2:50.

We also had to cancel the Lobbying course because of the sudden unavailability of the professor.  We have been able to find a professor to take over this course.  Sen. Brian Kelsey, a local solo practitioner and member of the Tennessee Senate, will offer the course this Fall semester.  Lobbying will be  offered Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:20.
